St. Joseph’s Hospital
Dickinson, ND 58601
It's no shock when a hospital is rumored to be haunted. St. Joseph's Hospital in Dickinson has had eerie ghost stories surrounding it for quite some time. There are several areas throughout the hospital that see more paranormal activity than others... the morgue being one of them. The elevator that goes down to the morgue is often seen operating on its own. The doors to this area where the deceased bodies are held are also known to open by themselves. This is extra creepy since the doors must be opened from inside the morgue unless you have a special access key.
Other haunting reports at the hospital include disembodied voices being heard throughout the cafeteria, the sound of running footsteps in the basement, and a ghost that likes to linger in one of the rooms on the third floor. Rumor has it that when the room is empty, the nurse's call button gets pushed.
